Ember Sue Vickery

Ember Sue Vickery, age 4 months, passed away on December 3, 2024, in Litchfield, Illinois.

Ember was born on August 2, 2024, to her parents Dylan Vickery and Leann McDonald in Springfield, Illinois.

Ember was a beautiful baby girl that lit up the lives of those around her. She was always had the biggest smile on her face and was adored by her whole family.

She is survived by her parents Dylan and Leann, her sister Lily Thiebaud, her grandparents Rick and Donna McDonald of Litchfield, grandmother Jodi Springer of Tremont, Illinois, great-grandparents Bill and Pam Vickery of Gillespie, aunt Kayla (Michael) Hiller, uncle Rickey McDonald, and cousins Aries, Kynli, Jensen, and Ayran.

Ember was preceded in death by her grandfather Christopher Vickery and great-grandmother Helen Cravens.

A funeral service for Ember will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 1:00 PM with Pastor Linwood Brown officiating. A visitation will begin at 11:00 AM until the time of service. Services will be held at Hough & Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
