Evellyn L. (Mason) Bergman

Evellyn L Bergman, age 97, of Sherman formally of Raymond and Beaufort, SC, passed away at 12:45 on May 14 at The Villa East in Sherman. She was born September 19, 1923 near Stonington Illinois, the daughter of Henry and Lucille Owen Mason.
She married Harry Bergman in St. Charles Missouri on October 16, 1940, he preceded her in death on December 8, 2008.
She worked at the Illinois Secretary of State for 17 years before she retired.

She is survived by; sons, Larry Bergman wife Susan Gastonia North Carolina, Russell Bergman wife Anne of Myrtle Beach South Carolina, daughters, Janet Norris and companion Harold Berner of Rochester and Tina Kuhn husband Mike of Beaufort, South Carolina, also surviving or 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death a brother Andrew and two sisters Mildred and Margaret.
Visitation will be held at Hough Funeral Home in Raymond on Tuesday May 18 from 1 until 2 PM, funeral services will begin at 2:00pm with Pastor Tom Mulch officiating.

Burial will be in Raymond cemetery.
