Obituary
Evelyn Ruth Young 70 of Brighton but formerly of Litchfield passed away Nov. 9, 2022 at Robings Manor in Brighton IL.
She was born March 16, 1952 in Steubenville OH to Paul and Bessie (Everhart) Young.
She attended to nursing schools and graduated from Capitol Area Vocational School.
She was a nurse at several places.
She is survived by three children Shannon (Dennis) Dey of Brighton, Matthew David (Julie) VanCuren of Litchfield and Francine VanCuren of Taylorville, 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Paul Young Jr., one sister Donna Young and one grandson Jacob L. Dey.
Memorials can be directed to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
Services will be held at a later date.
