Everett "Gene" Shreve

Everett E. “Gene” Shreve 83 of Litchfield passed away Sept 1, 2023 in St. Louis MO. He lived his entire life in Litchfield and Hillsboro.

He was born in Litchfield IL on Sept 26, 1939 to Everett E. and Marie (Hopper) Shreve.

He worked at Olin Corporation in Alton.

He is survived by his companion of many years Alice Ogden, two children Stanley (Brenda) Shreve and Melissa Hale, 3 grandchildren and one sister Susan Shreve.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Alicia Shreve, siblings Jane, David, Gary and Bill and two half-brothers Glenn and Lon.

A memorial service will be held at a later date 

Hough and Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro are assisting the family with arrangements.
