Faye (Wells) Kirkpatrick

Leora Luella "Faye" Kirkpatrick, age 82, of Harvel, passed away on November 15, 2023 at home. She was born March 25, 1941, the daughter of Leo Carol and Bernice Nora (Miller) Wells in Orel Township in Wayne County, Illinois.

Faye married Marion F. Kirkpatrick on June 1, 1958, in Fairfield, IL and he survives.

She enjoyed bowling, painting, ceramics, dancing, horseback riding, camping, and traveling with her husband in their RV. Family gatherings were important to Faye; always making room for everyone. For the past 16 years her and her family went on an annual camping/canoe trip on the Black River and enjoyed being with everyone.

She was of the Christian faith and had attended the the Raymond Christian Church in Raymond.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her children Doug (companion Joan Hobson) Kirkpatrick of Raymond, Troy (wife Julie) Kirkpatrick of Pawnee, Ron (Wife Risa) Kirkpatrick of Loami, Tonya (husband Tom) Durbin of Morrisonville, Sheila (husband Jerry) Springmeyer of Benld, Kara (husband Ryan) Dorsey of Moweaqua, Kevin Kirkpatrick of Morrisonville, 24 Grandchildren, 30 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren, also surviving are 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son Brad, a grandson Beau, and 2 brothers.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 20, 2023, at Noon at the Pleasant Hill Christian Church near Raymond. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of the service. Burial will be in Harvel Cemetery near Harvel.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Raymond-Harvel Ambulance, Raymond Christian Church or the Pleasant Hill Christian Church.
