Garry Hudgins Obituary

Garry W. Hudgins, age 70, of Carlinville, formerly of Girard passed away December 16, 2020 at Hallmark Healthcare in Carlinville. He was born March 14, 1950 in White Hall IL, the son of Verlie Tipsword and Horace McLin

He served in the US Army during Viet Nam.

He worked as a diesel mechanic and also drove for Hughes Oil Company in Litchfield.

He enjoyed fishing and mowing and He was a member of the Moose.

He is survived by sons Eric (Alicia) Hudgins of Girard, Jason (Jolina) Polston of Springfield and Jeff Polston of Springfield and 9 grandchildren and 1 great grand daughter Scarlette Schmidt. Six siblings also survive, Leroy Tipsword, Ronald Hudgins, Jimmy Hudgins, Brenda Jones, Donna Beeman and Caryn Bushue.

Besides his parents, a sister Anna Jennings, and brother, Kenny Hudgins, preceded him in death.

No services are planned at this time.
