George White Obituary
George Thomas White, 72, of Litchfield, passed away May 26, 2022 at Hillsboro Rehabilitation Center in Hillsboro.
He was born July 19, 1949 in Hillsboro to Luther and Freda (Brewer) White.
George spent several years working as an over-the-road truck driver and eventually started hauling trailers for Midwest Trailer Sales. He was a graduate of Hillsboro High School.
He is survived by his children Matthew White of Louisiana, Sarah Gomez of Litchfield, and Thomas White of Farmersville, as well as 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. George is also survived by his siblings David White of Hillsboro, Ray White of Coffeen, Tim White of Irving, Jeff White of Florida, Jane Randall of Litchfield, and Ruth Jernigan of Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Norman White, Ronny White, Alan White, Bill White, and Sisters Shirley McGill, Nelda Stratton and Patricia Lynch.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Hough & Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time.
Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Sorento.
