Harold Eugene Crawford

Harold Eugene Crawford, 87, of Litchfield, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2024, at his home.

Harold was born July 31, 1937, in Litchfield, IL to Clyde and Mildred (Brittan) Crawford. 

He married Catherine "Kitty" Shade June 8, 1956, in Jackson, MS. They were married 67 years when she passed in February 2023. He served in the Army National Guard and retired from Garrett Aviation where he worked as an aircraft upholster. 

Harold enjoyed traveling North America with his wife and spending time with his large family. He especially enjoyed beating everyone at croquet. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Christian Church. 

He is survived by his children Mark (Sharon) Crawford, Cathy Traylor, and Steve (Dawn Loeffler) Crawford, 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren, as well as 8 siblings. 

He was preceded in death by his wife Kitty Crawford, sons Gary, Randy, David Crawford, and siblings Alvin and Ronnie Crawford and Leona Spears.

Memorials in Harold’s honor may be given to the Pleasant Hill Christian Church.

A memorial service will be held at Pleasant Hill Christian Church on January 11, 2025, at 12:00 PM. A visitation will begin at 10:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will be held at a later date.
