James E. Davis 56 of Hillsboro passed away March 26, 2019 at Memorial Medical center in Springfield.

He was born Nov. 3, 1962 in Hillsboro IL to Paul and Verna (Stokes) Davis.

He attended Christian Church in Hillsboro.

He is survived by one daughter Tarena Baxin of Mattoon two grandchildren Shyanna and Abbitt Baxin, three brothers Larry Davis of Pana, David Davis of Hillsboro and Richard Davis of Litchfield. He was preceded in death by his parent’s and two sisters Linda Edwards
