Jane E. (Smith) Hiller

Jane E. (Smith) Hiller 70 of Greenville passed away March 16, 2024 at HSHS St. Elizabeth Hospital in O’Fallon IL.

Jane was born in Pittsfield IL on Aug 7, 1953 to Kenneth B. and Wilma Mardell (Witty) Smith.

She was a 1971 graduate of Pittsfield High School and majored in fashion merchandising from Gem City College in Quincy IL.

She was a homemaker and had worked at Zumwalt Chiropractic in Hillsboro for several years.

She was a spiritual seeker and loved time with her family. Jane enjoyed several hobbies including fishing and magnet fishing, metal detecting, rock collecting and music either listening to or singing along with her children and grandchildren.

She married Terry Hiller on Oct. 25, 1975.

She is survived by her children Joel (Bonnie) Hiller of Hillsboro, Brittany (Matthew) Dooly of Mulberry Grove, Katie (Clint) Schmollinger of Coffeen, Rhonda (Alex) Hedden of Lolo MT., twins Mackenzie (Brandon) Hungerford of Jacksonville IL and Michael (Kayla) Hiller of Fillmore and Andrew Hiller of Hillsboro, 12 Grandchildren, one sister Connie (Nathan) Meyer-Ping of Decatur and two Nieces Randi Rigsby and Jeni Zumwalt.

She was preceded in death by her parents and Daughter in Law Gracie Hiller.

Funeral services will be Tuesday March 19, 2024 at 3:00 PM; a visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00 PM until service time, all at Hough & Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
