John J. Osborn

John J. Osborn, 90 of Schram City passed away Saturday Aug 3, 2024 at his residence.

John was born July 3, 1934 in Mt Olive IL to John and Clara (Davis) Osborn.

John was a coal miner and farmer, he was a member of Full Gospel Church, John served in the U.S. Army, and a lifetime member of the Litchfield V.F.W. post 3912.

He married Clow Jo Hankins and she survives.

John is survived by his children Debra Beattie of Springfield Mo., Barbara Angle of Litchfield, John Buck (Rachel) Osborn of Witt, Victoria White of Hillsboro, Brian Osborn of Hillsboro, Elijah Deffenbaugh, and Danny (Kim) Osborn of Chatham, 23 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

 He was preceded in death by three children Mary Jo, Timothy and Jeffery, one granddaughter Serena Hutchins, one grandson Dustin Ray Osborn and great granddaughter KailynTreece, five brothers Clifford, Harm, David, Dewey and George Osborn.

Memorials in John’s honor can be directed to the Litchfield V.F.W.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Hough & Sons funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
