Joseph Light

Joseph Leroy Light, age 86, of Hillsboro, passed away January 1, 2021 at Hillsboro Area Hospital in Hillsboro, IL

He was born in Alton on August 3, 1934, the son of Otis Henry Light and Wilma Jane Davidson Light Ragsdale

He had worked at Roller Derby in Litchfield.
He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Hillsboro
He married Patricia Walsh, she preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children; William J. (Deb) Light of Pana, Thomas G. Light of Hillsboro Debra (Mark) Williams, Ava (David) Laurent, both of Irving, Sara Light and Tara Light both of Sandoval 15 grandchildren,; 8 great grandchildren. Besides his parents, 4 siblings; Donald, William, Barb and Nancy, preceded him in death.

No services are planned at this time.
Memorials in Joseph's name may be given to the Calvary Baptist Church or Paws.
