Kevin Young

Kevin Lee Young, age 59 of Litchfield, passed away at 8:20pm at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield on January 16, 2021.

He was born June 28, 1961in Hillsboro the son of Kenneth R. Sr. and Tjode Lee Barnes Young
Kevin was a graduate of Litchfield High School class of 1979.
He with his son, worked in the building trades.
He married Micki Simpson in Hillsboro on May 7, 1986
Kevin had an infectious smile and personality that was one of a kind. He never knew a stranger and would light up any room with his sense of humor. He was an avid Cardinal fan, enjoyed riding his motorcycle, but more than anything, he loved spending time with family. He especially loved spending time with his grandkids.

Besides his wife he is survived by his mother Tjode Young of Hillsboro, his children; Britney husband Clay Murphy, Ashley husband Joe Webb, and Kevin wife Marrissa Young all of Litchfield

He was the proud Papaw of grandson, Cooper Martin, granddaughter, Maggie Murphy, grandson, Cal Webb, and and granddaughter, Baby H coming in April. also surviving are a brother and sister, Kenneth R. wife Sandy Young, Jr. of Mt. Olive and Tracy husband Bill Cooley of Chatham
          
Private family services are being planned.

The family is being assisted by Hough Home in Raymond
