Larry Frank Burnet

Larry Frank Burnet age 82 of Waggoner passed away on Saturday September 25th at St. Francis Hospital Emergency Room in Litchfield, IL.
Larry was born on October 15, 1938 in Waggoner, IL the son of Frank and Ruby Porter Burnet. He married Linda Boyett on April 4, 1959 in Waggoner, IL.

Larry was a lifelong member of the Waggoner Christian Church in Waggoner where he served as an Elder.

He was a hoisting engineer Freeman Coal Co. for 42 years. He also helped manage the family farm near Waggoner. He was a "master" mushroom hunter and enjoyed trap shooting, good gospel music, dove hunting and fishing. He was always ready to help someone in need and most of all he loved his wife children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Linda of 62 years; his children; son Brad (Elaine) Burnet of Waggoner, daughter Lori (Andrew) Nafziger of Mechanicsburg, IL his grandchildren Lindsay and Jennifer Burnet and Stephanie and Pierce Nafziger.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Lisa and sister Ruth Babbe.

Memorials in Larrys name may be left to the Waggoner Christian Church.

Visitation will be held on Friday October 1, 2021 from 10-noon at Hough Funeral Home in Raymond.

Funeral services will be held at noon also at the funeral with Pastor Paul Jones Officiating, burial will follow in Asbury Cemetery in Raymond.
