Larry Carl Janssen, age 75, of Mattoon passed away on March 04, 2023 at 10:02 am at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, IL. Larry was born on May 31, 1947 in Litchfield, the son of Carl and Mildred Niehaus Janssen. Larry married Delores Clevenger and then married Cathy A. Conlin. Larry served in the Illinois National Guard and worked most of his life in sales before he retired. Larry is survived by his daughter Angela (husband, Patrick) Armour of Raymond, son Shane Janssen of Mattoon; twin sister Linda Kollenberg of Springfield. he is also survived by seven grandchildren Landin, Kayley, Kensey, and Katelyn Armour, Kelsey and Kara Janssen and Kyleigh Janssen. Proceeding him in death are his parents Carl and Mildred, son, Kent Janssen, and brother, David Janssen. Burial will be at a later date in St. Maurice Catholic Cemetery in Morrisonville in Morrisonville. Online condolences can be made at www.houghfuneralhome.com.
