Laverne Rose Brockmeyer Butler, age 97, of Litchfield but formerly of Springfield and Farmersville, loving mother, and grandmother passed away on April 20, 2023, peacefully at Heritage Manor in Litchfield

She was born in Farmersville, IL , Sept. 10 1925, the daughter of Herman and Emma (Jaeger) Brockmeyer.

She married Ford Riley Butler on September 11, 1944 and he preceded her in death on July 1, 1985.

She was a member of the Lutheran Faith . She attended Browns Business College where she received her degree.
She had worked for Dickey John in Auburn for 10 years as a solderer.

Laverne was proceeded in death by her father Herman and mother Emma, spouse Ford and brothers; Wayne Brockmeyer Donald Brockmeyer and one sister Evelyn Schmidt, a Son In Law Danny Wright and Great Great Grand Son Colton Robinson and Great Grandson Jonathan Butler.
She is survived by a son and two daughters; Dean ( Vicki) Butler of Farrmersville. Beverly Wright of Trenton and Dana (Jerry) Stieren of Farmersville, a sister in law Vonnie Brockmeyer of Farmersville, 11 grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, 10 Great Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be held at a later date

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the Rovey Cemetery.
