Linda (Johns) Jeffers

Linda Kay (Johns) Jeffers, 72, passed away November 1, 2023, at her residence in Arkansas.

Linda was born on July 31, 1951, in Mt. Olive, Illinois, to her parents Wilburn and Emma (Welch) Johns.

She attended Mt. Olive High School and later went on to work for the Sunset Motel in Mt. Olive. She also worked at the Mill Café.

She married John Jeffers and they later divorced.

She is survived by her children Donna (Michael) Thomason of Arkansas, Lisa (Donny) Roller of Raymond, and Steve Jeffers of Arkansas, 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and one brother Harold Johns.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and daughter Brenda Jeffers, two sisters Mary Lou Johns and Judy Boyce and Brothers; Lester, Gary and Ron Johns.

She was of the Baptist Faith.

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Hough & Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro ; visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 AM until service time.

Burial will be in Union Miners Cemetery in Mt. Olive, Illinois.

Hough & Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
