Lola Jane (Bates) Kail, 77, of Hillsboro, passed away February 8, 2023 at Montgomery County Nursing and Rehab in Taylor Springs.
She was born in Poughkeepsie, Arkansas on August 7, 1945 to Ernest and Viva Bates.
Lola graduated from Edinburg High School and spent her time as a homemaker.
She married James Anthony Kail Sr. and together they had three children; Jimmy Kail, Bobbi Kail-Westhoff, and Shaun Kail, who all survive her. Also surviving are Lola’s grandchildren Samantha Westhoff, Aly Kail, Justin Degon, Stephanie Allison, MaKenzie Westhoff-Hogan, Shay Westhoff Jr., as well as great-grandchildren Abella Kail and Kaizleigh Russell. Her brother Galen (wife Linda) Bates of Edinburg and sister-in-law Marsha Bates of Taylorville survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Wanda Bottoms and Ella Lomprez, and brothers Bill and Jim Bates.
No services are planned at this time.
