Obituary
Margaret Jane Hitchings, age 79, of Charleston, IL, passed away on Sunday August 6, at the Charleston Rehab and Health Care Center in Charleston.
She was born the daughter of Howard Glenn & Ruby Claire (Garard) Hitchings on September 26, 1943 in Raymond.
She was of the Methodist Faith and had competed in the Special Olympics.
She is survived by her siblings Howard G. Hitchings of Litchfield Jim (Mary Ann) Hitchings of Raymond, John (Mary Sue) Hitchings of Bloomington, Norma Vanvalkenburg of Springfield and Virginia Holliday of Jacksonville and many Nieces and Nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by; brother, Lester Hitchings, sisters; Dorothy Fraley, Luella Wolf, and Mary Catherine Jaeger.
Memorials may be given in Margaret's Honor to the Illinois Special Olympics Foundation.
Visitation will be held from noon until 1:00pm on Friday August 11 at Hough Funeral Home in Raymond. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm, also at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Asbury Cemetery in Raymond. Pastor Jon Magnuson will officiate.
