Marion Francis Kirkpatrick, 86, of Harvel, passed away in his home the evening of Wednesday, September 3, 2025. Mr. Kirkpatrick was born January 16, 1939, in Louisville, IL, a son of George Carter and Nora Bernice (Rodgers) Kirkpatrick. He graduated from Fairfield High School. On June 1, 1958, he married Leora Luella “Faye” Wells in Fairfield, IL. They were blessed with 65 years of marriage before she passed away November 15, 2023. Mr. Kirkpatrick was employed for nearly 40 years with United Producers as a livestock buyer and marketing. He worked seasonally for Bruntjen Farms for several years. He was a member of Raymond Christian Church and Range Riders Saddle Club. Mr. Kirkpatrick enjoyed horseback riding, camping, and taking motorcycle trips. Most of all, he cherished time spent with his family.

Mr. Kirkpatrick was preceded in death by his parents, George and Nora Kirkpatrick; wife, Leora Luella “Faye” Kirkpatrick; son, Bradley Kirkpatrick; son-in-law Thomas Durbin; sister, Margaret Willison; and grandson, Beau Kirkpatrick.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Christian Church in rural Raymond. Rev. David Ziegenbein will officiate. Burial will be in Harvel Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Raymond Ambulance Service, Raymond Christian Church or Pleasant Hill Christian Church.
