Marjorie Loraine Hough, age 97, of Raymond, passed away Tuesday, November 17 at Tremont Ridge in Hillsboro.

Mrs. Hough was born on Sept. 3, 1923 to Ray and Vera McConathy Trinkle in Harvel.

She graduated from Raymond High School in 1941 and Business College in Chilicothe MO.

Her family lived in Litchfield and Hillsboro before settling in Raymond, where her father bought the Chevrolet garage.

She married Raymond Roscoe "Jiggs" Hough at the St. Raymond Catholic Church on February 23, 1946 and they made their home in Raymond, he preceded her on September 11, 2004.

She Worked At the First National Bank in Raymond for 26yrs before retiring. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and was a great cook, know for her cream puffs. She was a member of the St. Raymond Altar and Rosery. She was a long time member of the Raymond Shoal Creek golf course and women's golf league.

She is survived by a daughter Kathy Husband Ken Caraway of Atwood, IL, 10 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 2 sisters Lillian Goby of Tuscola and Ruth (George) Baxter of Newman also survive her.
Besides her husband she is preceded in death by a son Maurice "Maury" Hough and one daughter Rebecca "Becky" Matli.

Memorials to the MCCA or Tremont Ridge Assisted Living.

Burial will be at St. Raymond Catholic Cemetery in Raymond.

Visitation and Funeral Mass and rosary for the family will be held Friday at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Hillsboro with Fr. Dan Willenborg officiating.
