Mary Louise (Agnew) Wells, of St. Louis, formerly of Farmersville, passed away November 22, 2019 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis.
She was born in Pontiac, Illinois on February 5, 1918 to Elmer J. and Hazel (Lucas) Agnew. She married Cleo L. Wells on July 26, 1938 in Sycamore, Illinois. He preceded her in death in 1999.
She was member of the Farmerville United Methodist Church and a former 4-H leader and member of Montgomery County Home Extension. She was an accomplished seamstress, crafter, gardener and avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah of St. Louis, grandson Matthew Whitener of St. Louis, great-grandchildren Isaac and Elise, sister Betty Whitehead of Jacksonville and nephew Mike McGrath of Bradenton, Florida.
Preceding her in in death were her parents, her husband, brotherJohn, and sisters Helen and Ruth.
Memorials can be made to the charity of choice.
A private burial was held at Rovey Cemetary, Farmersville, with a memorial service to be scheduled for a later date.
