Mildred Thacker Obituary
Mildred I. (Smith) Thacker 96 of St. Louis passed away Thursday July 16, 2020 at her residence.
She was born Aug. 2, 1923 in Springfield IL to Harry and Laura (Anderson) Smith.
She married Billie K. Thacker and he preceded her in death in 1989.
She worked as a beautician and for the rail road hospital in Chicago and worked for over 15 years at the Hillsboro glass plant and was Presbyterian.
She is survived by daughters Jerry Ann Snider of St. Louis, Geraldine (Dale) Eccles of Panama, April (Ron) Albers of Delavan, Georgia (Larry) Endicott of St Louis and Karen Thacker of Haubstadt IN, one sister Barbara (Al) Schober of Springfield, 14 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 11 Great-Great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Richard Thacker, one great grandchild Justin Adams and two brothers Billy and Norman Smith.
Graveside memorial services and Burial will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday Aug. 1, 2020 at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Rural Donnellson.
