Nettie (Klunk) Campbell

Nettie J Campbell 79 of Hillsboro passed away on Nov 10, 2020 at her residence.

She was born April 13, 1941 in Michael IL in Calhoun County IL to John J. and Ida Ruth (Beck) Klunk.

She earned her GED on June 23, 1975 from Alton Community Unit Schools. She was a member of Calvary Baptist church in Hillsboro, She was a kind and loving person, loved the Lord and the color Red.

She worked at Hutchinson Foundry in Alton, worked in Home health care and in Taylor Springs at Montgomery Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She married Harry James Campbell in 1958.

She is survived by one daughter Vicky Campbell McNealy of Hillsboro, one son John Paul Smith of Gillespie three Grandchildren Bobbie (Roger) Diveley of Carlinville, Ashley (Bradley) O’Reily of Gilberts IL and Christina McNealy of Troy three great grandchildren Olive Faith and Mercy Rose Diveley and one grandson on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents’ one son in law Brian “Bob” McNealy, one granddaughter Mary Ruth McNealy and one sister Katherine Logan.

Family Funeral service will be Thursday Nov 19, 2020 at Hough & Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Jeff Hemken Officiating;

Burial will be in Bunker Hill Cemetery in Bunker Hill.
