Paul J. Westbrook

Paul J. Westbrook 84 of Hillsboro passed away Nov. 27, 2023 at Hillsboro Area Hospital.

He was born on Sept 6, 1939 in Hillsboro to James and Edith McCaslin Westbrook.

He was a graduate of Hillsboro High School and managed Laclede Steel for 37 years. Paul was of the Presbyterian faith and was a past member of the Jaycees, Hillsboro Moose and Hillsboro Country Club.

He was a member of the Coffeen softball team the Road Runners; He enjoyed the St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Bears and loved to golf.

He married Peggy Betoche on April 14, 1962 and she survives along with his children Tony (Marcia) Liebsher, Terry (Linda) Liebsher and Jan Richardson, 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren one brother Robert Westbrook of Hartford Connecticut and one sister Martha Jackson of Witt.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, one great grandchild and brothers, Walter and James Westbrook and one sister Maude Lamb.

No services are planned at this time.
