Robert Clifford Eby

Robert C. Eby, 64, of Springfield, IL, passed peacefully on February 27, 2025, in Hillsboro at Hillsboro Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Eby was born to his parents Clifford and Margaret (O’Reilly) Eby on November 21, 1960, in Pullman, WA.

Robert graduated from North Green High School and worked in food service and vehicle detailing in Jacksonville, IL and Springfield, IL.

He is survived by his brother, James C. (wife, Deby) Eby of Beaufort, SC, his sister Jean M. Toner of Flagstaff, AZ, his niece Jennifer (Husband, Alan) Bernstein of Fairfax, VA, and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Clifford Eby, of White Hall, IL, and a sister, Sheila Ann of Independence, KS.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
