Robert E. Wasson 58 of Butler passed away Aug 24, 2021 at his residence.
He was born May 2, 1963 in Taylorville IL to Ivan and Virginia “Carol” Boonr.
He worked for several cab companies in Taylorville and at Morrisonville Co-Op.
He loved his grandchildren, NASCAR and dirt track racing especially at Macon Co. Speedway. He attended Apostolic Light House Church in Taylorville.
He married Patricia “Patty” Ryan on Oct 12, 2019.
He is survived by his wife Patty, Mother Carol two daughters Lisa Stolte of Springfield and Cassey Wasson of Tasylorville, also surviving are 5 grandchildren and siblings Sue (Tracey) Hunt of Taylorville, Pamela Fanning of Edinburg, Ronald Beesley of Taylorville and Kenny Boone of Taylorville.
He was preceded in death by his father and one brother Michael Wasson.
A Celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
Hough and Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
