Obituary

Shane Phillip Tate Sr., 49, of Donnellson, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022.

 

He was born in Bloomington, Illinois on August 10, 1973 to Samuel Preston and Marjorie Jo (Arbogast) Tate.

 

Shane worked at Soldier Concrete/Construction in Greenville. He attended the Mosaic Baptist Church in Highland, Illinois. In his early years he enjoyed deer hunting and developed a passion for fishing. Shane’s passions also extend to his love for animals, especially his own.   

 

He is survived by his fiancée Angie Lesiewicz of Donnellson; mother Marjorie Tate of Donnellson, children Anna J. Tate, Michaela Lesiewicz, grandchild Max Grer and in-laws Vince and Donna Gibbs.

 

He was preceded in death by his father, children Shane Phillip Tate Jr. and Jason Lesiewicz Jr., and grandparents Howard and Catherine Arbogast.

 

Memorials can be directed to the Donors Choice.

 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
