Sherri Lynn (Hankins) Long

Sherri Lynn (Hankins) Long 55 of Litchfield passed away Feb. 2, 2021 at Hillsboro Rehabilitation & Health Care Center.

She was born Dec. 11, 1965 in Litchfield IL to David and Carolyn (Small) Hankins.

She attended Litchfield High School loved animals, camping and yard sales.

She was a CNA at Aprion in Litchfield and past member of the 1st Baptist church in Litchfield.

She married Ronald Long and he survives.

She is survived by her grandmothers Pearl Laird and Betty Law both of Litchfield, her parents, two sisters Tammy Barto of Coffeen and Jody (Brian) Nowlan of Litchfield, one nephew John Pass, two nieces Lacey Barto and Britney Nowlan one great Nephew Austin Pass and one great niece Brealyn Rein Smith.

She was preceded in death by her son David Long in 2007.

Memorials can be directed to St. Jude’s Hospital.

Funeral service will be Saturday Feb. 6 2021 at 11:00 AM at Hough & Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro with visitation from 10:00 AM until service time on Saturday.

Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Sorento.

Hough & Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
