Susan Williams Obituary

Susan Kathleen (Towell) Williams, age 57 of Litchfield, passed away at her home on April 16, 2020. Susan was born on July 9, 1962 in Litchfield, IL the daughter of Rosalie and Bob Towell. Susan was a Litchfield High School graduate. Susan worked for the United States Postal Service for 18 years. Prior to the USPS, she worked at Walmart and Denmar Trucking for a number of years. She was a member of Union Avenue Christian Church of Litchfield. She was an election judge for South Litchfield precinct. Susan enjoyed cooking, vacationing to the ocean and mountains, and spending time outdoors with her family. Susan had a strong appreciation for nature and animals.

On February 14, 2000 Susan married James Gregory Williams of Litchfield. Susan is survived by her husband James Gregory and daughter Haley Marie Williams.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Gloria Jean Rhoads.

Funeral services will be private, burial at Edgewood Cemetery in Litchfield.

Memorials may be made to Hart Cemetery or Montgomery County Cancer Association.
