Darrell G. Schaake 73 formally of Hillsboro passed away on May 13, 2016 at his residence in Litchfield.

He was born Nov. 26, 1942 in Alton IL to Raymond and Eleanor (Wheat) Schaake.

He was a 1961 graduate of Edwardsville High School.

He worked for over 25 years for Phillips Pipe Line.

He was married to Mary McNish, she preceded him in 1994.

He was a U.S Army veteran and loved to fish.

He is survived by 3 sons, John wife Carrie Schaake of Fillmore, Mark wife Jerri Schaake of Litchfield and Monte Schaaake of Hillsboro and 8 Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wife, one brother Larry Schaake and grandson Derek Schaake in 2001.

Grave side memorial services will be Thursday May 19, 2016 at 12:00 P.M. at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro, with Rev Ralph Ward officiating.
