Marsha: I just found out today of Dean's passing. I am honored to have been his friend from our school days until recent years when I would see him at WalMart. I cherish the many great memories of Dean, as he was one of the best. My deepest condolences to you, Jim and the family. He will never be forgotten.

We got to know Dean well when he was part of the State Street crowd in Litchfield. He was my barber for as long as he was one. Since "huntin' and fishin' " were a big part of Western Auto and most that worked there, he fit right in and we thought a lot of Dean. He will be remembered fondly.

My heartfelt sympathies go to Marsha and family. Dean was a great, funny man. I had the pleasure of serving him and Marsha many times when they would come to The Gardens Restaurant. He always put a smile on my face. He will be missed by all.
