Dolores L. (Stroup) Plankenhorn 89 of Hillsboro formerly of Kankakee Il passed away Sept 18, 2017 at Montgomery Nursing and Rehab.

She was born in Schram City IL on July 20, 1928 to Charles A and Genevieve E (Dunkirk) Stroup.

She attended 8 years of school in Schram City before going four years at Hillsboro High School graduating in 1946.

She worked for Sears Company for over 30 years in the auditing and accounting Departments.

She married Marion Plankenhorn at the Schram City Baptist church on Oct. 15, 1949.

He preceded her on April 11, 2004.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband one son Gregory Paul Plankenhorn on Oct. 24, 1972 and two brothers Charles and Franklin Stroup.

She attended 1st Baptist Church in Kankakee and later Union Ave. Christian Church in Litchfield.

Memorials can be directed to the Leukemia Foundation.

Funeral services will be Thursday Sept 21 2017 at 1:00 P.M. with visitation starting at 11:00 A.M. at Hough & Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Peggy Hickman officiating

Burial will be in Harvel Cemetery in Harvel.
