Alvin D. Koonce Sr. of Hillsboro passed away May 6, 2016.

He was born July 28, 1935 in Clinton Il to Kenneth and Mary (Taylo) Koonce.

He worked as a mechanic in Springfield area service stations.

He is survived by four siblings.

Private family services will be held in Kentucky.
